Adoption

Adoption is a process whereby a person assumes the parenting for another and, in so doing, permanently transfers all rights and responsibilities, along with filiations, from biological parent or parents. An orphan is a child permanently bereaved of or abandoned by his or her parents. In common usage, only a child who has lost both parents is called an orphan. When referring to animals, only the mother's condition is usually relevant. If she has gone, the offspring is an orphan, regardless of the father's condition. Orphan generally comes to the orphanage from the following ways:

  • Children Found in street: in regard to the children found in street local police makes the necessary documents and provides it to the relative orphanage where the child is going to be kept.
  • Children left in the hospital: In regard to the children left in the hospital, the hospital authority makes the necessary documents and send it to the orphanage along with the child.
  • Children delivered through unwanted pregnancy: there are lots of cases where children are delivered through unwanted pregnancy like rape. In this case also children are sent to orphanage.
  • Children whose parents have died: the children whose both parents have died can stay in orphanage.
